Galicia

The very first "International Congress on Thermal Tourism" took place in Mondariz-Balneario (Spain) in 1999 by UN World Tourism Organisation,
Tourspain and Xunta de Galicia. More than a decade later the same partners organised
another congress in Ourense (Spain)

2022

Ourense

With EHTTA as UNWTO Affiliate Member a new format and level of the International Congress on
Thermal Tourism was organised.
270 participants from over 20 countries met
in Ourense, Galicia (Spain).

Nancy

Taking place in Nancy (France), a smaller edition of the International Congress on Thermal Tourism was connected to the French Meetings of Thermalism as a one-day event, celebrating the grand opening of the new Nancy Thermal facility.
