Emma González is, since March 2021, manager of the Ourense Institute for Economic Development, an entity dependent on the Ourense Provincial Council. She has expertise during more than 15 years collaborating with destinations in the thermal sector around the world. In addition to promoting the “Ourense Genuine” provincial tourism brand, which projects thermalism as the main differentiating resource, she is the manager of the current “Ourense Termal” Tourism Sustainability Plan executed by the Diputación, on behalf of the 15 rural thermal municipalities of the province. This plan includes triple funding from the provincial, regional and state governments and pursues the objective of achieving a competitive and ecological transformation of the destination. The province of Ourense is undoubtedly the territory of Spain with the largest number of thermal infrastructures, combining therapeutic spas with the model of open-air “termas”.

She has more than 25 years of professional experience in corporate management at large companies. Her professional knowledge, which has been recognised with national and international awards, is regularly put to good use as a speaker at conferences abroad and in Hungary.

Since the beginning of 2020, she has held the position of CEO of Budapest Spa and Thermal Baths Ltd.

Previously, she worked for ten years as a consultant for a number of domestic and international companies. From 1999, she was a member of the management of Magyar Posta, and for three years she was the company’s CEO. At OTP, she held the position of Senior Advisor to the President as Director of Communications. Her professional work has been recognised with the Silver Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary and the Officer’s Cross Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary.

Her qualifications include secondary school teacher, museologist and economist. Mother of 1 child, in her free time she enjoys travelling with her family, attending cultural events and has a great desire to learn to paint professionally.

Holder of a BA degree in Tourism (University of Morón) and a master degree in International Relations (University of Barcelona); a specialist in Social Communities and Networks for the Tourism Industry (World Tourism Organization – WTO) with over 20 years’ experience in the sector; specialized in the strategic implementation of tourism promotion of destinations.

He is currently the Market Director of the National Bureau of Tourism Promotion, responsible for digital strategy, contents and intelligence system for Argentina’s international tourism promotion worldwide and Responsible for promotional actions for the tourism international commercial economic sector.

He is a Professor of Strategic Marketing for the undergraduate and graduate schools at the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa, National University of La Plata and the National University of Mar del Plata, all of them in Argentina. He was the CEO of www.realtrip.travel, a digital communication strategy produced in over 105 countries. He was also the National Director of Tourism Promotion of the Ministry of Tourism of Argentina; Director of Tourism Promotion of the Tucumán Tourism Entity, Manager responsible for the European Market of the National Bureau of Tourism Promotion of Argentina and Director of Tourism Promotion for the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, among other positions.

He was also a panelist at over 60 meetings and congresses, with specific tourism promotion and marketing publications in different media. Decorated by the Order of the Camino de Santiago, Galicia, Spain for his merit in promoting tourism in Argentina in the world.

Paula is a student of business and tourism in her fourth year at the Universidade da Coruña (UDC) and has been a participant in the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Auslandsdienst) project about thermalism in collaboration with the University of Pforzheim (Germany).
